Celebrating Manufacturing Week and Inspiring the Next Generation of Manufacturers
Futuramic recently welcomed students from Warren Consolidated Career Prep Center to our facility as part of Manufacturing Week and MFG Day, giving students an opportunity to experience modern manufacturing firsthand and learn more about careers in aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
MFG Day is an opportunity for manufacturers across the country to open their doors to students, educators, and their communities. By connecting students with manufacturing professionals and real-world manufacturing environments, these events help demonstrate that today’s manufacturing industry offers exciting career opportunities in engineering, machining, welding, fabrication, automation, skilled trades, and many other fields.
During their visit, students from Warren Consolidated Career Prep Center had the opportunity to see how the skills they are developing in the classroom can translate into careers in the manufacturing industry. The visit also provided an inside look at the people, technology, equipment, and processes that come together to support the aerospace and defense industries.
At Futuramic, we understand that the future of manufacturing depends on developing the next generation of skilled professionals. Connecting with students early and showing them the possibilities within manufacturing is an important part of building that future.
We sincerely thank Warren Consolidated Career Prep Center for visiting Futuramic and for helping introduce students to the opportunities available in modern manufacturing.
Thank you for joining us for MFG Day, we look forward to seeing where the next generation takes manufacturing!
