We are seeking a highly skilled Fitting Inspector to join our team and uphold the quality standards that define the Futuramic name.

• Inspect aerospace components, assemblies, fixtures, and tooling for fit, alignment, contour accuracy, and tolerance compliance.
• Validate physical parts against Rhino 3D CAD models and Enovia PLM data.
• Capable of interpreting and accurately laying out fundamental welding symbols.
• Identify misalignments, gap/flush inconsistencies, interference issues, and interface deviations.
• Document nonconformities and communicate findings to engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI/AS9102) activities and configuration audits.
• Utilize precision measurement equipment (height gauges, calipers, etc.) to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Ensure all inspections meet AS9100‑compliant quality standards.

• 7–10 years fitting, precision assembly, or inspection experience within aerospace or a high‑tolerance manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years proficiency in CAD, specifically Rhino and Enovia.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, aerospace drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Experience working with large‑scale structures, or aerospace tooling.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong technical judgment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, hands‑on engineering and production environment.

• Familiarity with configuration control, and aerospace documentation workflows.
• Understanding of machining, welding, fabrication, or large‑scale aerospace tooling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to resolve complex fit‑up issues collaboratively.
