We are seeking an individual experienced in estimating within the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting specifications, sourcing material prices, and optimizing manufacturing processes. • Analyze customer RFQ’s and RFP’s, blueprints, and engineering data.
• Estimate material, labor, tooling, and outside processing costs.
• Calculate manufacturing cycle times and process planning.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and sales.
• Source competitive pricing for materials and services from appropriate vendors.
• Recommend cost effective manufacturing methods.
• All other duties as assigned.

• 2 years of estimating experience
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes (machining, etc.)
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing and machining.
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

• 5 years of aerospace estimating experience.
• Competent in CAD software.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with quality control processes.

• Pay Rate dependent on qualifications.
