Futuramic, worldwide leader in high-tech fixtures and tooling for the aerospace and defense industries, is pleased to be providing a training and technology sponsorship of Team USA and US Sailing.
Leadership, drive, integrity, commitment. At Futuramic, these values are deeply embedded in what we do, how we work, and how we advance. We share these values with Team USA and US Sailing athletes who strive to be the best in their sport, commit themselves to excellence, and serve as leaders on their teams and in their communities. This is why Futuramic is proud to sponsor U.S. athletes on their journey to the Olympic Summer Games Tokyo 2020.
The Olympics represent the best of America, showing off the determination and drive of our athletes. We’re proud to be a piece connecting these athletes to their home and country while they are abroad, helping to make sure they arrive ready to compete at their very best. Futuramic is thrilled to partner with this elite US Sailing team and other world class organizations, like Oracle and Rolex, to help power them through a successful racing season, and more importantly to the Summer Olympics. Chris Clark was pleased to reflect on the partnership, saying: “We are very excited about being able to work with US Sailing and Team USA, and continuing to develop a great relationship. Futuramic and US Sailing hold similar values: quickly adapting to the ever changing global landscape, and pushing ourselves to be the very best at what we do.”
The US Sailing team is set for a spectacular racing season in 2019. Bora Gulari of the premiere Nacra 17 Sailing Team, said “We are extremely grateful to our sponsors and supporters for their help through thick and thin. It’s hard to comprehend the community effort necessary to support a winning campaign unless you’ve done one, because there are so many aspects to success in racing a double-handed, highly technical boat. We have an incredible team around us.” Bora has two foiling Moth World Championship titles and 2009 Rolex Yachtsman of the Year made the 2016 Olympic medal race (finals) in the Nacra 17, and has a University of Michigan aerospace engineering degree. “Through technical knowledge, racing experience, and athletic power, we will be the fastest boat in 2020.” Bora’s partner on the mixed team NACRA 17 is Louisa Chafee, a lifelong Rhode Islander who attended Brown University and named three time All American. Louisa partnered with Bora in their very successful 2016 Olympic campaign.
